Emma and her Eeyore
Ever since Emma was 3 months old, she has hardly let her Eeyore out of sight. As she gets older, Eeyore is sorta left on the sidelines. But the other day she had to have him with her. She asked me to put him inside her coat so he wouldn't get cold and I couldn't do anything but comply. :-) She looked so cute, that I couldn't help taking a picture and sharing it with ya'll. :-D

Freezing Rain
Last week we had some strange weather. We had a normal thunderstorm. But it was so cold out that the rain froze on the scenery. Here are some pictures. It was VERY pretty!
A New Beginning
This past year we have been looking for a church closer to us. With a family of 9 and an hour and a half drive to church one way, we needed it closer. By God's grace we found an OPC Church. And Though we did not agree with a lot of things they had to say, we realized that they agreed with us more than anyone else in this town. As the months continued on, it became harder and harder and harder, to let those things go. We love the people there and miss them too. But God had something else in store for us. A new door; a new beginning. We have been wanting to start our own family integrated church for years. We had tried and failed. No one seemed to be interested. But God can change hearts and convictions and ways. One day, Mom came home with a light in her eyes and told me that Dad had had a call from our friend (Mr. G.). He was ready to start that church we had asked him about. Words cannot express how excited we were. A home church with fathers who are the head of their households and can decide whether or not their children can take communion or other things of that importance. It was bliss! And still is.
Not long after that Mr. G's wife, talked to her friend - our aquantinces. They said they had just quit their church and we're going to try the church we had just quit going to. When the D's were told that we quit that church they decided to join our home church. Our beliefs are VERY alike. It is amazing the things that God can perform. How He can pull things together. How some people can think that that was just chance, I don't know. What I do know is that God IS sovereign and in control of all things. "Even a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without the Father's knowledge". Please pray for the growth of our church. That His mighty will, will be done and that He would work through us. All power and glory belong to our God! Amen.
P.S. When I say "our beliefs", what I really mean is what the Bible teaches us and what the Lord plants firmly in our hearts. It does not mean we won't have faults in our belief either. Just wanted to make that clear... ;-)
